During a thirteen-year career with Intrawest Resorts, Ogilvy managed resort developments in British Columbia, California, Nevada, Utah and Florida. His oversight of projects has led to approximately $1 billion in sales at eight different resorts. In addition to being responsible for the master planning and re-entitlement of five major properties in Whistler with 800 units of development, he was in charge of the redevelopment of the Whistler Creek portal and the Four Seasons Whistler Resort. In Mammoth Lakes Doug developed the Village at Mammoth and the Westin Monache along with other condominium and town home properties.
For the past three years Ogilvy was Senior Vice President of Development for Replay Resorts. In this role he directed the update of the resort master plan and Supplemental EIS for the 1,300-acre Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s fabled north shore. He also directed a $35 MM capital upgrade of the existing 400 unit hotel to support the repositioning of the property.
An avid skier, hiker, and cyclist, Doug has lived in resort communities on and off since he was two. He and his wife Heidi, along with their two young children, are very excited to be new residents of Park City. All of us at Talisker are looking forward to collaborating with Doug on Talisker’s mission to create unrivaled ways to enjoy community and the Park City lifestyle.
