What is your spa/wellness philosophy?
Wellness is an attitude of learning and active participation in a lifestyle that includes regular body work, skincare, nutrition, fitness, and personal spiritual study.
Is there anything new at the spa, including fitness classes as well as treatments?
Talisker Spa and Fitness offers regular classes in Cardio, Spin, Yoga, Pilates as well as offering private training services to members. In the Spa our new signature treatments would be the Turkish Bath, Blue Bird Facial, River Rock Reverie, Signature Aromatherapy Ritual and the Earth and Sky Thai Massage.
What is your choice of three treatments offered at the Talisker Club Spa at Tuhaye that are particularly well-suited following a day on the slopes?
Planning to utilize the beautifully appointed Aqua Rooms prior to any treatment is highly recommended after a day on the slopes or following any of our fitness classes. The heated water relaxes and softens the muscles, the steam and aromatherapy open the respiratory system and the cool splash stimulates the immune system. Thursdays are “Turkish Bath” day at the spa, where guests venture into the Aqua Rooms and cycle through the beneficial features of heated bath, warm stimulating shower, aromatherapy and steam, completing the process with a refreshing cold shower. Multiple cycles are suggested.
The Red Cloud Journey Stone Massage feels amazing on post ski muscles. The Earth and Sky Thai Massage focuses on deep stretching, compressions and relaxation- ideal after a day on the slopes! The Blue Bird Facial can be customized to hydrate the skin and treat stress incurred from skiing in the high altitude and the damage of sun exposure.
