Kimball Junction, Jordanelle & Park City Extended

As you travel through Park City you can’t help but notice some of the neighborhoods which also capitalize on the beauty of the area. Kimball Junction, at the intersection of Highway 224 and Interstate 80, has seen much growth the last few years since the Redstone mixed—use development was finished. Here, you can do it all; live, shop, and work. Just across the street, Bear Hollow and Olympic Park blossomed just prior to the 2002 Olympic Winter games. A visitor center there greets and informs our out of town guests as well as guides them to some of the best kept secrets of town. Master Planning and development has really helped keep this area’s beautiful open space accessible for the sports enthusiast while integrating residential and shopping areas. Swaner Nature Preserve is a wonderful sanctuary and encompasses some of the lower laying wetlands. Residences surrounding this area benefit from the peacefulness it provides.

Jordanelle Reservoir is a water-lovers delight with its views of Deer Valley and close proximity to Park City proper. Neighborhoods here offer close access to water sports, camping, and breath-taking mountain views. Talisker’s Tuhaye development is a perfect example – Tuhaye has wonderful views of ski runs, as well as a world-championship golf course, all while being only about ten minutes from all the conveniences of the area.

There are numerous other neighborhoods expanding Park City’s actual city limits. All of these holistically and organically incorporate  the natural surroundings of fields, rivers, and mountains into their homes.

Whether you are looking for a condo to rent, or your dream home, these areas are all unique and have something different to offer.

One thing the locals say more often than not is they “Came for the winter, but stayed for the summer”. No matter what time of year you are here, you too will experience Park City’s beauty and see why we locals all choose to call this place, ‘Home’.
